Ms. Stacey started swimming competitively when she was in high school. She has enjoyed swimming and most water sports all her life. She graduated from Edgewood College with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She worked several years with children who had an autism diagnosis or other developmental delays in many environments. Once she started having babies she took some time off from working outside the home. She then began watching other children while raising her own. About a year ago she started working at Monona Grove Nursery School teaching a parent child class. In her very little free time she has she enjoys spending time with her family, rock climbing, running and doing yoga.
Ms Stacey became interested in teaching swim lessons after watching Ms Brittany’s way with teaching her children to swim. It intrigued her and thought it would be a great way to learn how to engage with children at a different level.
